UNIVERSAL'S "FAIL-SAFE"
FILLING VALVE OPERATING CAMSHAFT FOR CROWN FILLERS.
Universal Packaging Machinery Corp.
offers their "Fail-Safe" actuating camshaft assembly as part of their Ultra-Speed®
model "CM" high speed replacement filling valves for Crown bottle fillers.
Universal advises that their new design
prevents the camshaft from being forcibly ejected, under pressure, from
the filler bowl, either in the opened or closed position, even if the securing
nut is removed.
A flange machined at the inside end
prevents the camshaft from ejecting when the valve is in place. When open,
the valve C/P cap holds the camshaft in place. The stop pin of the camshaft
housing does the same when the valve is in the closed position.
Also, their camshaft will not open
prematurely during production or during wash down.
Ultra-Speed® "Fail-Safe" camshafts
can replace existing camshafts on most Crown bottle fillers.
