Increase productivity and reduce maintenance requirements by installing Universal "Ultra-Speed" booster springs. Eliminate down time caused by sticky or lazy lift cylinders or worse yet, by bent piston rods. The booster spring assembly consists of the stainless steel booster spring plus an upper and a lower bushing (Item # UBS- 01, 02 and 03). The whole assembly fits into the lift cylinder, over the piston. The piston rod fits through the assembly. When air forces the piston upward the spring is compressed and when the pressure is released by the normal sliding valve, or spool valve action, the spring forces the piston downward in a more positive action. This is especially beneficial when handling smaller bottles or when a bottle is not on the lift cylinder such as a missed bottle, or during wash-down. |
